CANCELLATION POLICY

At Rare & Lavish Beauty, my goal is to provide every client with a professional, relaxing, and personalized salon experience. These policies help protect appointment time and allow me to provide each client with the attention they deserve. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies. Salon Schedule Closed: Mondays, Sundays, and every other weekend. Appointments are available Tuesday–Saturday, based on my rotating salon schedule and availability. Online booking requests are reviewed before approval. Please allow 24–48 hours for a response. If you prefer to call regarding an appointment, please leave a detailed message including your: *Name *Phone number *Requested service *Preferred date and time Consultations General consultations are complimentary. Before booking, you are welcome to send photos of your current hair along with inspiration photos of your desired style via text or email. This allows me to assess your needs better and recommend the appropriate service. Specialized Hair + Scalp and Trichology Consultations are separate professional services and are subject to the pricing listed on the booking site. Guests & Children To maintain a comfortable and professional salon environment, please arrive alone unless otherwise approved. Individuals who are not receiving a service are not permitted to remain in the salon suite. Clients under the age of 18 may be accompanied by one parent or guardian when necessary. I currently service clients ages 10 and older. Braiding Hair Natural-colored braiding hair is provided for eligible Box Braid and Twist services only. If you would like a specific or specialty color, please discuss your selection before your appointment. Clients may be required to provide specialty-colored hair. Deposits A deposit is required to reserve your appointment and will be applied toward your total service balance. Braid and extension service deposits are non-refundable. For other eligible services, cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment may qualify for a deposit refund. Each deposit may be transferred one time to a rescheduled appointment when proper notice is provided. Cancellations & Rescheduling Please provide at least 48 hours' notice when canceling or rescheduling your appointment. Appointments rescheduled with proper notice may transfer the existing deposit one time. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours' notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit. A new deposit will be required to book another appointment. Late Arrivals A 10-minute grace period is provided for late arrivals. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may result in cancellation of the appointment to avoid disrupting appointments scheduled afterward. If your appointment is canceled due to late arrival, your deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to rebook. No-Shows Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment without notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit. After a no-show, a new deposit will be required before another appointment can be reserved. Repeated no-shows may result in future booking restrictions. After-Hours & Off-Day Appointments Appointments requested outside of regular business hours or on scheduled days off are subject to availability and must be approved in advance. A $75 After-Hours/Off-Day Fee is required upfront in addition to the cost of your selected service. This fee is non-refundable and does not apply toward your service balance.
